On October 19, 2026, HNYT loaded and shipped a batch of custom 10 ton trolley wire locomotives for a customer in Southeast Asia. Built for underground mine rail transport, the locomotives combine resistance speed control with a structure designed for disassembly. These choices address two practical requirements at the customer's mine: straightforward maintenance and the need to lower equipment underground using a mine cage.
The customer selected resistance speed control for its simple structure and ease of maintenance and repair. This choice reflects a practical priority for the mine: keeping the locomotive's control system straightforward to service during everyday operation.
The customer uses a mine cage to transport personnel and materials between the surface and underground levels. This access arrangement also had to be considered when designing the locomotives. HNYT therefore made the 10 ton trolley wire locomotive suitable for disassembly into several sections.
The sections can be lowered separately through the shaft using the cage and reassembled underground. Planning for this transfer at the design stage connects the locomotive configuration with the mine's actual access route. It addresses how the equipment reaches its working level as well as how it will be used once assembled.
The shipment photographs show the yellow locomotive bodies in the workshop, lifting operations beside the transport truck, and the equipment loaded on the truck in the factory yard. Protective wrapping is visible on selected components during preparation and handling. These views document the factory loading stage of the Southeast Asia order.
This project illustrates why an underground mining locomotive should be selected with both operating conditions and installation access in mind. As a mine locomotive manufacturer, HNYT incorporated the customer's preferred control system and cage transport requirement into the same order.
